As a way to showcase it appreciation over the Board’s positive strides, a Canadian-Sierra Leonean non-governmental organisation which goes by the name Canserra, has today donated twenty swivel chairs to the Legal Aid Board. Sixteen of the chairs have already been delivered while the four were to be delivered on a later date.
Receiving the donation, the Executive Director of the Board, Ms Fatmata Claire Carlton-Hanciles, expressed delight and thanked Canserra for the gesture. She added that the Board is extremely grateful to the organisation and it Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and International Director, Mr Bassie Kargbo for the gesture.
She assured of the Board’s continued commitment in addressing the justice needs of the poor and vulnerable, especially women and children.
